Dell notebooks + preinstalled Ubuntu = still pathetic :(
You can take a look here and second page here (pages might be very slow) - however the final result is still very poor - suspend does not seem to be able to resume and only WEP seems to be available (and even that only works sometimes) - you might actually get better results with some other distributions that are not 'preinstalled' by Dell ...
And since we are on the subject of Linux distributions - Mandriva is still my favorite but right now Fedora 7 looks very promising - it comes with kernel 2.6.21 by default (which is a few revisions better than Mandriva) and seems to have better support for the latest things ...
